School receives $5,000 from Consolidated Connects Educational Grant Program

WHITEFIELD, N.H. - White Mountains Regional High School has been awarded a $5,000 grant to support its geospatial technology program from Consolidated Communications' Consolidated Connects Educational Grant Program. Consolidated joined students, teachers and faculty in celebrating the grant award at a check presentation during the school's Spartan Spotlight assembly on Monday, May 13.

Geospatial technologies play a crucial role in communities, from urban planning to environmental conservation. This grant will allow White Mountains Regional High School to upgrade technology in its geospatial technologies course curriculum, providing students with increased hands-on experiences in drone operation, data analysis and mapping techniques. Integration of this cutting-edge technology into the curriculum will enhance student learning experiences and prepare students for careers in geospatial technology and related fields.
