On May 19, CNR Datong Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd. started to manufacture the latest type-2 electric locomotive for Belarus. It's going to be Belarus's most intelligent electric locomotives till now.

Type-2 electric locomotive is of an AC driven system with special intelligent features. This kind of locomotive is adopting European technical standards in design and development, and comply requirements of Belarus suitable to be running in Belarus railway system.
