    (1) As the Company prepares for the adoption of new accounting standards
effective January 1, 2010, it continues to update its policies to be
consistent with industry practice. In November and December of 2009,
the Company refined its bankruptcy processing from 30 days to the
industry standard and FFIEC guidelines of within 60 days of
notification. This processing change was completed in December 2009,
and positively impacted the loss rate for both months. Excluding
this benefit, losses would have been consistent with the Company's
guidance of mid 9% for both months as well as the three months ended
        December 31, 2009.
    (2) Managed data for the periods presented excludes a small program that
has been terminated. It is not in Private Label's top 20 programs
and is not considered material based on revenue or credit sales.
