Expanded label includes bedding and potted plants, container-grown plants and nursery field-grown plants

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, January 28, 2014 - BASF today announced it has received U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approval of Trinity® fungicide for use in a wide range of ornamental applications.

"This expanded labeling provides growers with an exceptional fungicide rotation product for treating problematic ornamentals diseases," said Kathie Kalmowitz, Market Development Specialist, BASF. "Trinity fungicide offers preventive control for many common diseases, including powdery mildew, anthracnose, leaf spot, crown and basal rot, stem blight and more, along with a higher level of plant safety for many sensitive crops."

Trinity fungicide can be applied as a single foliar spray or tank mixed with other ornamental fungicides. Trinity fungicide provides a broad range of disease control on ornamentals, including bedding/potted plants, container-grown plants and nursery field-grown plants. Trinity fungicide is now labeled for use in greenhouses, lathhouses and shadehouses, containers, outdoor and field nurseries, including Christmas tree and forest or conifer plantations, retail nurseries, residential and commercial landscapes, interiorscapes and other non-turfgrass landscape areas located at golf courses, recreation areas and parks.
