Bank of Ireland has teamed up with Aer Lingus to introduce its newest credit card offering. The new co-branded Aer Credit Card offers all the convenience of a regular credit card but comes with a whole host of unique travel rewards for customers. Each year, customers who sign up to the card will receive: Two free return fares to Europe; Two fast track and priority boarding passes; Two lounge passes; Worldwide Multi-trip Family Travel Insurance, including winter sports; Customers can collect 1 Avios for every €1 spent on Aer Lingus products and services and 1 Avios for every €4 spent on all other transactions. The rewards package from which cardholders can benefit is worth in excess of €200 upon receipt of the card, and increases to a value in excess of €400 when reward flights become available, notwithstanding the additional benefits which Avios enables. Aer Credit Card will cost €7.99 per month plus government stamp duty of €30pa with standard annual interest rate of 16.12% variable and Annual Percentage Rate (APR) of 26.6% variable for purchases.
