AVAX S.A. New €42.9 million solar park project in Megalopolis, signed with PPC Renewables
AVAX SA signed a contract with PPC Renewables SA regarding the construction and operation of a 125MW solar park in Megalopolis, Greece.
The project is worth €42.9 million and involves the engineering, procurement, construction and operation of a solar park in the municipality of Megalopolis, in southern Greece. The new project includes the connection of the park to an existing open-air 33/150kV substation and its expansion with a new bay.
The new project reflects the strong presence of AVAX in large energy projects in Greece and abroad, as well as its very good collaboration with PPC Renewables, which was sealed with the recent successful completion of the solar park of Agios Christoforos in the municipality of Eordaia in Northern Greece, with a 64.983MW nominal capacity.
