Asco Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire Hokuyaku Co., Ltd. and A?M?I Co., Ltd. from Iwaki & Co., Ltd. (TSE:8095) on July 31, 2019. Asco will acquire 0.12 million shares of Hokuyaku and 0.072 million shares of A?M?I. For the year ended November 2018, Hokuyaku had net assets of ¥10 million, total assets of ¥291 million, sales of ¥814 million, operating profit of ¥7 million and net income of ¥7 million. For the year ended November 2018, A?M?I had net assets of ¥152 million, total assets of ¥576 million, sales of ¥1.3 billion, operating profit of ¥21 million and net income of ¥13 million. The transaction is expected to be completed by September 2, 2019.
