Assystem reinforces its agency near Bordeaux appointing to its head Stéphan Alquier

Paris, 10 January, 2017 - Stéphan Alquier is appointed by the engineering group to lead its agency based nearby Bordeaux. Working his entire career in the engineering and consulting, he developed his expertise in the aerospace and defence sectors, and his know-how on the digital transformation in the industry.

Stéphan Alquier is appointed as Head of Assystem agency based nearby Bordeaux. His main mission is to reinforce the group's local presence within the aerospace and defence sectors along major regional customers such as Airbus Defense & Space, Dassault, DCNS, Stelia, or Thales. For the coming year, his priority is the development of the "Manufacturing Engineering" et "Systems" offerings in order to anticipate the customers' needs. His daily tasks are the operations, investments and recruitment management, as well as the training of the current team and launching new projects to keep the agency always at the forefront of innovation. Today, the agency employs about a hundred collaborators and is located in Gradignan.

Stéphan Alquier, 43 years old, is graduated in Operational Research and Stochastic Simulation from Université Bordeaux I. He worked for 15 years at Capgemini starting as Program director on mobile and web projects for the aerospace and defence sectors. Then, he took the lead of the agency in Pau, before running the "Digital Transformation" unit first in Toulouse and finally in Paris.

In 2015, he joined the engineering company ECM to lead the "Atlantique" facilities.
