Announcement regarding execution of a share purchase agreement to acquire shares of CalpisAsahi Group Holdings, Ltd. ("Asahi") is pleased to announce that it has executed an agreement with Ajinomoto Co., Inc. ("Ajinomoto") to acquire all outstanding shares of Calpis Co., Ltd. ("Calpis"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Ajinomoto, and to make Calpis a wholly owned subsidiary of Asahi.
