Company announcement no. 8 2012-13: Ambu appoints new Chief Financial Officer

Michael Højgaard, born in 1964 is appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with the overall responsibility for global finance, IT and Investor Relations.

Michael Højgaard has considerable experience with acquisitions and integration of companies, and he will contribute significantly to Ambu's continued positive development and globalization. Michael Højgaard will be a member of Ambu's Executive Management Team (EMT).

Michael Højgaard takes up the position on the 10th of January 2013.

Ambu's CFO Anders Arvai will look for new challenges outside Ambu and we would like to thank him for his dedicated, loyal and qualified contribution for many years.

Ambu A/S is specialized in the design, production and marketing of medical supplies. Net sales break down by family of products as follows: - single-use endoscopes (56.3%); - emergency care and resuscitation devices (22.9%): mechanical ventilation devices (insufflators, laryngeal masks, facial masks and respiratory bags), secretion aspirators, immobilization devices, etc. In addition, the group sells dummies for first aid training centers; - monitoring and diagnostic devices (20.8%): including electrodes used in the fields of cardiology, neurophysiology and first aid. At the end of September 2023, Ambu A/S had four production sites located in China, Malaysia, the United States and Mexico. Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Denmark (1.2%), Europe (37.8%), the United States (49.5%), North America (1.3%) and other (10.2%).
