Partners to offer customers intelligent data infrastructures locally and in the

adesso, an internationally active and one of the leading German IT service providers, and NetApp , the intelligent data infrastructure company, have announced a new partnership for Germany and Switzerland. adesso customers now have access to NetApp's industry-leading unified storage and data management solutions as well as the CloudOps platform Spot by NetApp. The partnership is geared toward providing companies with a customised, cloud-based data infrastructure that can be implemented quickly and cost-effectively and also scores highly in terms of performance, security, flexibility and scalability. Customers benefit from an accelerated cloud transformation and the ability to continuously optimise their infrastructure at a later date. The various deployment options include the provision of NetApp services as an on-premise solution, in private or public cloud environments or as part of hybrid cloud models.

Agnostic approach with AWS focus

The partnership between adesso and NetApp is fundamentally based on a provider-agnostic approach when it comes to selecting the right cloud infrastructure partner for operating NetApp solutions. After all, as has always been the case at adesso, the customer's needs are always front and centre. Nevertheless, a particular focus of the collaboration between adesso and NetApp is the creation of a secure, AWS (Amazon Web Services)-compliant landing zone and the implementation of reliable operating models in AWS cloud environments. The reason? Thanks to the long-standing partnership between NetApp and AWS, the products enjoy a high level of mutual compatibility, which benefits integrators and users alike. Using NetApp products, adesso's experts can quickly scale the migration of customer data to the AWS cloud at low cost while ensuring a high level of security and adherence to compliance requirements. In addition, Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP makes it easy to set up fully managed shared storage based on NetApp ONTAP in the AWS cloud. The solution, which is integrated via a managed service, provides the functions of the ONTAP file system natively in the cloud in order to map core functions quickly and cost-effectively. This includes back-up and disaster recovery, long-term archiving as well as the migration and modernisation of extensive databases, such as SAP or Oracle.
