(NASDAQ: ACFN) company, today announced the appointment of three executives that will be crucial in the scaling of OMNIMETRIX under their new business model focusing on connections and recurring revenue. Harold Jarrett, founder of OMNIMETRIX and former VP of Engineering, has been named Chief Technology Officer, Andy Briggs has been named Chief Sales & Marketing Officer and Chris Gropp has been named Chief Information Officer.
Harold Jarrett began development of wireless remote data systems in 1996 and then formed OMNIMETRIX in 1998 to market those concepts. He has spent over a decade immersed in design and development of remote monitoring systems for power generation systems and has worked closely with every major generator brand to push the envelope of remote monitoring capabilities. Mr. Jarrett personally oversees the ongoing development of the OMNIMETRIX product line, finding innovative ways to meet customers' needs in an ever-changing industry. He also serves on OMNIMETRIX's Board of Managers.
Andy Briggs, previously the owner, founder and President of Pro Power Solutions, grew that start-up company into one of the top Generac Industrial Dealers in North America before selling it in 2010. With 26 years in the power systems industry, Briggs brings to the company extensive expertise in sales and marketing, sales and leadership training, as well as distributor/dealer management. He most recently consulted for OMNIMETRIX and serves on its Board of Managers.
Chris Gropp joins OMNIMETRIX as its CIO. He was previously a Senior Vice-President of Y-Prime, a clinical software development company. Chris conceived, created and implemented several clinical software platforms that quickly grew to be the premier platforms at multiple pharmaceutical companies. With over twenty years of IT experience, Chris is a recognized innovator with the skills and leadership to execute on IT driven initiatives. Chris has successfully achieved business growth in both start-up and fortune 100 companies.
