The professional services company said Thursday that net income for the quarter was $1.98 billion, compared with $2.05 billion for the third quarter of fiscal 2023.

Diluted earnings per share were $3.04, down 3%.

The company declared a cash dividend of $1.29 per share for the quarter, an increase of 15%.

Looking ahead, Accenture said fiscal 2024 will face a foreign-exchange hit to results in dollars of 0.7%. The company previously expected the effect to be flat.
