3i Group plc (LSE:III), Cathay Capital Private Equity and Philippe Charrier, Executive Chairman at Ponroy Sante SAS agreed to acquire unknown stake in Ponroy Sante SAS on November 4, 2016. 3i Group plc will invest €150 million. The transaction will draw on a senior debt entirely structured in the form of term loan B by a pool of six banks. Natixis, Société Générale, BNP Paribas, Bank of Ireland, ING and HSBC provided senior debt for the deal. For the year 2015, Ponroy Sante SAS had revenues of €170 million. Fabrice Cahierc will continue to lead the company as Chief Executive Officer together with Philippe Charrier, who will join as Executive Chairman and shareholder. Arnaud Ponroy, former Executive Chairman of Ponroy, will continue to be a member of the Strategic Committee. Arnaud Ponroy and Fabrice Cahierc will keep invested interests in Ponroy. The transaction is subject to customary and antitrust approvals. 3i Group completed the acquisition of stake in Ponroy Sante SAS in January 2017.
