Major Garrett, CBS News Chief White House Correspondent, and Annika Sörenstam, Hall of Fame LPGA Golfer, are now a part of the outstanding speaker lineup at the American Cleaning Institute's 2014 ACI Annual Meeting & Industry Convention.

The event takes place January 27-February 1 at the Grande Lakes Orlando (Florida).

Garrett, who is also a columnist at-large for the National Journal, will speak to Convention attendees on Friday morning January 31. Sörenstam will speak at ACI's Inaugural Women's Networking Forum on Thursday, January 30.

Garrett and Sörenstam join a line-up that already features an Executive Leadership Panel on Thursday, January 30 which includes:

  • Michael Heinz, Member of the Board of Executive Directors, BASF SE.
  • Kevin Gallagher, President, Croda, Inc.
  • Joy Atkinson, Vice President, Body/Home Care North America, Firmenich Inc.

The session will be moderated by TV and radio host and author Lou Dobbs.

Prior to becoming CBS News' Chief White House Correspondent, Major Garrett reported for CNN, where he was part of the network's White House team; Fox News Channel, where he was Chief White House Correspondent; The Washington Times, where he was a Congressional reporter and deputy national editor; and U.S. News & World Report, where he was the senior editor and Congressional correspondent. Garrett's lengthy experience - including coverage of four presidential campaigns - gives him expertise and insights into today's political climate and the inner workings of Congress.

Hall of Fame LPGA Golfer Annika Sörenstam is one of the greatest female golfers of all time and is now a passionate business woman and philanthropist. During her 15-year career, she rewrote the LPGA and Ladies European Tour record books, with 89 worldwide victories, including 72 on the LPGA, ten of which are Major Championships. She is the recipient of the 2013 PGA First Lady of Golf Award, the Associated Press Female Athlete of the Year from 2003?2005, and the Golf Writers Association of America Female Athlete of the Year eight times. In 2007, she created the ANNIKA Foundation as a way to teach children the importance of living a healthy, active lifestyle through fitness and nutrition and offer aspiring junior golfers opportunities to pursue their dreams.
