It develops, optimizes and investigates systems and procedures for effective and comfortable drug inhalation. Its clinical trials help it improve lives. The client's aim is to transport a drug into the lungs or blood stream via the lungs, and to study its effects. The company's aim is to support the client by asking the right questions, conducting the right investigations and finding the best answers. A spin-off of the GSF National Research Center for Environment and Health (now called Helmholtz Research Centre), INAMED profits from more than 30 years of experience in aerosol biophysics and technology. This, coupled with its state-of-the-art equipment, ensures that it will competently conduct any investigation or trial.

Inamed GmbH engages in the development of drug inhalation systems and therapies. Its products include organic fiber and fiber products; nondiagnostic biological products; medical instruments; surgical appliances; and supplies. The company was founded by Thomas Meyer and Gerhard Scheuch in 1998 and is headquartered in Gauting, Germany.
