Hong-Chul Ahn

Mr. Hong-Chul Ahn is Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at Korea Investment Corp.
He had been with Macquarie Securities Korea as Senior Advisor from December 2012 to November 2013.
Mr. Ahn had also been a Commissioner of Invest KOREA and had also served on the Board of Directors of Shinhan Life Insurance from 2010 to 2013.
From 2009 to 2010, he was the Vice Chairman of Pyunghwa Chemical, while he was also on the Board of Directors of ING Life Korea.
Prior to that, Mr. Ahn was the Statutory Auditor at KIC from 2005 to 2008.He was also a Managing Director at BAT Korea, a President at iParkBoston and a Vice President at the Korea Center for International Finance.
From 1992 to 1999, Mr. Ahn held various positions at the World Bank.
Mr. Ahn holds dual master’s degrees in International Business from University of California, San Diego and in Public Administration from Seoul National University.
He holds a bachelor degree in business from Yonsei University.
