Deutsche Asset Management (Japan) Ltd. (DeAM-JP) is the Japanese fund management branch of Deutsche Asia Pacific Holdings Pte Ltd., ultimately held by Deutsche Bank AG (NYSE: DB) in Germany. Established in 1985, the firm is located in Tokyo and provides a full range of asset management products and fund management services for individual and institutional investors including public and private pension funds. The Tokyo team manages domestic and overseas public and private pension funds for institutional clients, outsources the management of other funds and distributes a range of mutual funds for retail investors. They are a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Institutional Investors (Japan’s Stewardship Code) which seeks to promote sustainable growth of companies through investment and dialogue.

Nippon Life Schroders Asset Management Europe Ltd. (NLSAMEL) is an independent asset management firm headquartered in London, UK. Formerly known as Nissay Schroders Asset Management Europe Ltd., the firm was founded in 2009 as a joint venture between Nippon Life Insurance Co. and Hermes Pensions Management Ltd. NLSAMEL’s role in the group is to provide a range of portfolio management and advice to other group companies.
