She received a First Class Masters in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, during which time she was selected to spend a year at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Deviyani started her career at ExxonMobil in a range of operational and strategic roles in the largest refining and petrochemical complex in the UK.
She subsequently joined the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in their Energy practice, working on projects across the energy industry.
She has an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
In her free time Deviyani is a board member of Literacy Now, a non-profit focused on early childhood literacy and Co-Chair of the Houston Reads Day initiative.
She is Vice-Chair of the Society of Petroleum Engineers Investment and Finance committee.
She is also an EMERGE mentor, empowering college access to high-performing students from underserved communities.
Deviyani and her husband have one child, and they love to go camping and to travel.
