Simon Vincent McKeon is an Australian businessperson who has been the head of 11 different companies. Mr. Kerry McKeon is a Managing Director at Stifel, Nicolaus & Co., Inc. Prior to joining Stifel in 2008, he spent three years at Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co., Inc., where he originated and executed more than $600 million of sole lead managed private and public equity offerings in the metals and mining/coal sectors, as well as advised public and private clients in a variety of mergers and acquisitions engagements.
Prior to FBR, Mr. McKeon spent five years with Rothschild Inc. where he completed approximately $2 billion in mergers and acquisitions and restructuring transactions with clients in the metals, coal, oil and gas, and power sectors.
Prior to Rothschild, Mr. McKeon worked for three years with Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. (and its predecessor Bankers Trust Company) where he originated and executed approximately $2.5 billion of lead managed, emerging markets bond and bank project financings in the power and oil refining sectors.
He began his investment banking career as a financial analyst in Lehman Brothers' Power group.
Prior to Lehman Brothers, he worked for three years in Price Waterhouse's International Privatization group.
Mr. McKeon graduated from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and received an MSc from the London School of Economics.
Mark McKeon has worked as a Secretary at Transurban Queensland since 2005.
Prior to joining the ford foundation, Ms. McKeon was the lead special assistant to the USAID administrator.
She has focused most of her career on the economic and social problems of post-communist societies, through her work in civil society organizations, philanthropies and government.
She established field offices in Moscow in the early 1990s for the John D.
and Catherine T.
MacArthur Foundation and the International Research and Exchanges Board.
Later, in Washington, D.C., at the U.S.
Agency for International Development, she led sector assessments and designed major technical assistance programs for countries in Eastern Europe and Eurasia aimed at lowering unemployment, restructuring safety nets and increasing workforce competitiveness.
Ms. McKeon holds a master's degree in public policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government and a bachelor's degree in languages from Georgetown University.
She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
She is a fluent Russian speaker.
She has taught and developed training courses on labor market analysis and has written on the tensions between preserving worker rights and pursuing competitive economic growth in a globalized world.
