Yao Sheng Electronic Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 273.35 million compared to TWD 209.61 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 20.93 million compared to net loss of TWD 9.29 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.48 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.21 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.48 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.21 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 713.44 million compared to TWD 567.84 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 30.88 million compared to net loss of TWD 4.23 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.71 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.1 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.71 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.1 a year ago.
Yao Sheng Electronic Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in manufacture and distribution of transformers and inductance coils. The Company provides transformers and inductance coils, which are applied in liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors, power supply units, notebook computers, mobile phones, digital cameras, personal digital assistants (PDAs), televisions and other devices. In addition, it also provides light emitting diode (LED) lighting products. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets.
