Xencor, Inc. Names Dagmar Rosa-Bjorkeson to Board of Directors

Xencor, Inc. announced the appointment of Dagmar Rosa-Bjorkeson to its board of directors. Ms. Rosa-Bjorkeson brings more than 25 years of global experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including executive leadership in corporate and product strategy, market development and operational execution. Ms. Rosa-Bjorkeson was most recently executive vice president and chief strategy and development officer at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, where she was responsible for corporate and therapeutic area strategy, business development and new product commercialization. Before assuming this role, she was senior vice president of new product commercialization, in which she was responsible for shaping the company’s pipeline programs for optimal patient benefit and access.
Xencor, Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing engineered antibodies for the treatment of cancer and other serious diseases. More than 20 candidates engineered with its XmAb technology are in clinical development, and three XmAb medicines are marketed by partners. Its XmAb engineering technology enables small changes to a protein structure that result in new mechanisms of therapeutic action. Its wholly owned development candidates include Vudalimab, XmAb819, XmAb808, and XmAb541. Candidates co-developed with partners include Plamotamab. Its cytokine drug candidates in clinical development consist of fbalropendekin alfa (XmAb306/RG6323), XmAb564, and XmAb662. Its other clinical-stage drug candidates consist of Obexelimab, AIMab7195 (XmAb7195), and Xpro1595. Vudalimab is a bispecific antibody that targets PD-1 and CTLA-4.
