TransferWise Ltd announced that it has received $58 million in its series C round of funding led by new investor Andreessen Horowitz LLC on January 25, 2015. The round also included participation from existing investors Index Ventures, Seedcamp, Valar Ventures LP, IA Ventures, and individual investor, Richard Branson. As a part of the transaction, Ben Horowitz will join the company's board of directors. The company has raised $91 million in funding till date. The round was raised at a post money valuation close to $1 billion.
On January 25, 2015, TransferWise Ltd closed the transaction.
