WESTERN MARINE SHIPYARD LIMITED Western Marine Shipyard Limited inked an agreement with Eastern Refinery for construction of three oil storage tanks to be operated under Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation. Each tank will be capable of holding 13,000 metric tons of fuel oil. The contract was signed by managing director of WMS Sakhawat Hossain and managing director of the ERL AHM Shamsud Doha at the ERL office at Patenga.
The project worth BDT 500 million will be built on turnkey basis including design and construction under API 650 Code. The tanks will be handed over to the ERL's north Patenga depot in 2014.
