Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc. announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2020. For the fourth quarter, the company announced net interest income was USD 32.243 million compared to USD 31.994 million a year ago. Net income was USD 18.566 million compared to USD 15.536 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.07 compared to USD 0.89 a year ago. For the full year, net interest income was USD 127.444 million compared to USD 133.414 million a year ago. Net income was USD 69.829 million compared to USD 69.118 million a year ago.
