Mandurah Forum is gearing up to reveal the first major retail stage of the $350 million redevelopment with a brand new Target store, a fresh food market hall and a wide selection of new speciality stores only a few months away from opening.

In a new era for Mandurah Forum, approximately half of the transformed and expanded centre is getting set to open mid-year and will offer customers Target, Kmart, Big W, Woolworths and Coles all under one roof and on one convenient level.

Centre Manager, Jacqueline McKenzie said: 'When we open this significant phase, Mandurah Forum will be unlike anything our local community has experienced before - we will be a true one-stop destination that caters for the whole family with exciting new fresh food, fashion and lifestyle offerings.'

'In our vibrant, new centre, we are excited that we will provide new and loyal customers with the best everyday shopping experience in the Peel region.'

With anurban feel, the fresh food market hall will be the place to stock up with fruit and vegetables, seafood, baked goods, with a butcher, cafés, sushi and health foods all available in one convenient location.

Ms McKenzie said: 'Championing fresh, healthy food our new market hall will be a sought-after destination offering customers a variety of new flavours with independent retailers and an array of local produce.'

After listening to customer feedback, the transformed Mandurah Forum will also offer customers free Wi-Fi, a new pedestrian entrance from Mandurah Road and - to cater for local families and to make shopping with little ones easier - a new fully equipped parents room offering a secure toddler play area, parents kitchenette, private feeding areas and a large baby change area.

The development has been under construction for just over 12 months and along with the brand new Target, Kmart and Coles will open the doors of their transformed stores offering the Peel community a market leading customer experience.

As part of Mandurah Forum's $350 million redevelopment, more than 1,500 new car bays are now available in the multi-deck and rooftop car parks and driving in and out the centre is also easier thanks to new access ramps and upgrades to Dower Street and the Clarice Street and Mandurah Road intersection.

The first next generation David Jones store in Western Australia, a new fashion mall, restaurant precinct with alfresco dining options designed around a water oasis and a contemporary food court with some outdoor seating, will open in early 2018.
