Münster, 9 January 2013 - Otto E. Umbach has been appointed as a new member of the Supervisory Board of United Labels AG. In 1977, the 62-year-old toy industry expert teamed up with 33 specialty retailers to form a purchasing and marketing group by the name of idee+spiel Fördergemeinschaft Spielwaren Facheinzelhandels-GmbH & Co. KG. Over the course of 35 years in senior management, he established the company as the largest purchasing and marketing group in the toy, model kit and video games industry, with more than 1,000 affiliates in five European countries. Since 2012, Otto E. Umbach has been working as a freelance consultant within the toy industry.
