Toung Loong Textile MFG. Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 907.743 million compared to TWD 1,066.749 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 80.462 million compared to TWD 109.334 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 63.231 million compared to TWD 87.675 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.52 compared to TWD 0.73 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 1,776.069 million compared to TWD 2,133.783 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 153.265 million compared to TWD 225.137 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 120.606 million compared to TWD 167.399 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1 compared to TWD 1.39 a year ago.
Toung Loong Textile Mfg. Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sales of yarns. The Company's products consist of sewing threads, including zipper sewing threads, spun polyester (SP) threads, polyester yarns, nylon threads and bonded threads, and yarns for apparels, such as label yarns, Velcro yarns, air textured yarns, textured yarns and woven yarns. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including the rest of Asia, Europe, the Americas, Oceania and others.
