TotalEnergies announces that it has reached more than 1.5 GW of Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) signed with more than 600 industrial and commercial customers worldwide, for self-consumption on their sites and injection into the grid.
Of this total of 1.5 GW, 1.1 GW of on-site solar capacity has already been commissioned, producing 1.5 TWh of electricity per year, while a further 400 MW will be commissioned by the end of the year.
TotalEnergies supports the energy transition of a wide range of sectors, including food processing, automotive, cement, digital, manufacturing, metallurgy, mining, retail and warehousing.
' Thanks to the proximity and trust we maintain with our B2B customers, the involvement of our teams and the commitment of our Company, we are proud to continue accelerating our growth in on-site renewable energy production. In an unstable electricity market, characterized by high prices, we provide not only decarbonized energy, but also visibility and operational excellence over the entire duration of the PPA', said Vincent Stoquart, Director of Renewables at TotalEnergies.
