Tong Yang Industry Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 4,458.341 million compared to TWD 3,305.242 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 111.675 million compared to operating loss of TWD 347.472 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 141.134 million compared to net loss of TWD 9.557 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.24 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.02 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 8,976.677 million compared to TWD 8,101.206 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 341.874 million compared to TWD 122.056 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 391.659 million compared to TWD 365.690 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.66 compared to TWD 0.62 a year ago.

The Automobile Assembly Market segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of automobile and motorcycle spare parts for automobile assembly market. The Repair and Maintenance Market segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of automobile and motorcycle spare parts for repair and maintenance market. The main products include bumpers, headers, instrument boards, engine covers, fenders and fans. The Company operates within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including China mainland, the United States and other countries.
