TOM TAILOR PRESENTS NEW VIP COLLABORATION

Are you ready for TOM TAILOR Denim x Revolverheld?

Hamburg, 18. January 2018. The Hamburg based fashion company TOM TAILOR continues its successful development of the past months with international and national collaborations. The presentation of the new collection "TOM TAILOR Denim x Revolverheld", which was supported by a private concert at Berlin Fashion Week yesterday, pursues the new brand strategy consistently.

Last year, the new marketing campaign "ARE YOU READY…?" was announced by CEO Dr. Heiko Schäfer and his Team to showcase the new orientation of the key brands TOM TAILOR and TOM TAILOR Denim. Modern, provocative and differentiating - this is how the brand communication of the fashion company from Hamburg, which has been operating on the market for more than 55 years, will look from now on in the future. After the successful cooperation with supermodel Naomi Campbell, TOM TAILOR presents another VIP Collaboration with the German rock band Revolverheld.

The first of two capsule collections will be available in retail from August 2018 onwards. The collection is clearly representing the handwriting of the artists: Jeans, comfortable outerwear in olive tones, basic t-shirts with chest pockets and plain shirts with stand-up collars are building the fundament of their styles together with though checked shirts. For Revolverheld, the aspect of the production's sustainability was important as well. Therefore, raw materials as organic cotton were used and BSCI- and Global Organic Textile Standards were followed. The second collection will be released this November.

"Revolverheld is the perfect choice for us", explains Dr. Heiko Schäfer, CEO of TOM TAILOR GROUP. "We are united by the common origin. Revolverheld originates directly from Niendorf, the same district of Hamburg where our headquarter is located. On top of that, the band personifies a positive attitude and cosmopolitan outlook, which ideally matches our new marketing orientation." The collection "TOM TAILOR Denim x Revolverheld" is the next step of the new brand strategy which was launched last year. Guerilla-Marketing measures will follow to support the scope within a 360° marketing mix consisting of online and social marketing, print media and Out-Of-Home advertising.

Johannes Strate, lead singer of Revolverheld, is proud of theirachievements: "We like to try new things, but stay true to ourselves. I think you can see that in our styles - the collection is reflecting us perfectly, because we were directly involved in the design process." At the presentation of the new collection, Revolverheld will play a private concert with a selection of their greatest hits.
