The Yonkyu Co.,Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2021. For the period, the company reported the net sales of JPY 36,391 million compared to JPY 40,461 million a year ago. operating profit was JPY 1,943 million compared to JPY 1,405 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 1,211 million compared to JPY 694 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share were JPY 99.43 compared to JPY 59.90 per share a year ago.
THE YONKYU CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the seafood wholesale business, general cargo transportation business, tuna farming business, eel farming business and fresh fish retail business. The Company operates in two business segments. The Fresh Fish Sale segment purchases thailand, hamachi, amberjack, small fish (including natural fish), fry, artificially hatched fry, processed goods, tuna, and eel. The Feedstuff Sale segment provides raw bait, feed mixture and moist pellets to fish farmers. The others business is engaged in the general cargo transportation business.
