Third Warehouse Construction Project Completes in Laem Chabang, Thailand

Sumiso (Laem Chabang) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, "SSLC"), a local subsidiary of The Sumitomo Warehouse Co., Ltd., announced the completion of its third warehouse in Laem Chabang.

There is a strong demand for logistics in the Laem Chabang District as it has the largest seaport in Thailand, Laem Chabang Port, and quite a few industrial parks lie in its vicinity. In addition to first and second warehouses in the same district, the third one has now been completed.

The new warehouse is situated at an elevation of approximately 38 meters, which reduces the risk of flooding. Furthermore, it is equipped with 24/7 manned security, CCTV cameras, LED lighting, and solar power generation system, among others, making the facility disaster resistant, safe, and eco-friendly. The warehouse also has large canopies for handling cargo during rainy weather.

With the completion of the new warehouse, the total floor area of SSLC's warehouses in the Laem Chabang District has reached approximately 34,000 square meters. SSLC intends to utilize its high-spec warehouses to provide its customers with high-quality and attentive logistics services.
