The Okinawa Electric Power Company Inc. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2015. For the period, the company reported net loss attributable to owners was JPY 1.46 billion, compared to a net loss attributable to owners of the parent of JPY 769 million for the same quarter ended June 30, 2014. Sales were JPY 41.89 billion, compared to JPY 41.81 billion for the same quarter ended June 30, 2014. Operating loss was JPY 1.41 billion, compared to an operating loss of JPY 484 million for the same quarter ended June 30, 2014. Ordinary loss was JPY 1.81 billion, compared to an ordinary loss of JPY 828 million for the same quarter ended June 30, 2014.
For the first half of the fiscal year 2015, the company expects sales to be JPY 97.7 billion and net income attributable to owners of the parent to be JPY 4.4 billion.
For the fiscal year 2015, the company expects sales to be JPY 185.5 billion and net income attributable to owners of the parent to be JPY 3.9 billion.
