(Arendal, NORWAY / Sherbrooke QC, CANADA28 November 2023) Tekna Holding ASA (Tekna, OSE:TEKNA), a world-leading provider of advanced materials to industry, has called for an extraordinary general meeting on December 19 with the purpose of electing Ann-Kari Heier Amundsen as a new boardmember of the Board of Directors.

Heier recently joined Arendals Fossekompani ASA as Executive Vice President. Heier comes from the position as Chief Operating Officer at Telenor Maritime. She has previously held various management positions at MacGregor, Aker Solutions, and Data Respons. In her early professional life, Heier also worked at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands and at CERN in Switzerland.

Heier holds a master’s degree in technical cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). She is the Deputy Chairman of NHO Agder and a Board Member of Space Norway.

The extraordinary general meeting will be held on December 19, 2023 at 12:00 pm CET. The notice and ancillary documents are enclosed and available on the company’s website www.tekna.com.

The extraordinary general meeting will be hosted as a video conference. Shareholders who wish to attend by video are requested to send a notice of attendance to Tekna Holding ASA no later than  15 December 2023, 12:00 pm CET by using the attendance form attached to the notice. Details of the video conference meeting will only be provided to shareholders who have given notice in advance.
