Tata Motors Limited announced that its dealerships have started taking orders for its Zica hatchback ahead of the vehicle's launch at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. The model is based on the Indica's Xo platform. It will be available in India with a choice of petrol and Revotorq diesel engines.

The 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine will generate 83.8bhp at 6,000 rpm and 114Nm of torque at 3,500rpm, while the 1.05-litre three-cylinder diesel engine will deliver 69bhp at 4,000rpm and 140Nm of torque between 1,800-3,000rpm. Both engines will be coupled with five-speed manual gearbox and the AMT gear option. It features a Harman infotainment system with eight speakers, steering mounted audio controls for telephony, electrically adjustable ORVM and cooled glove box.
