Talon Energy Ltd. announced the appointment of Ms. Shannon Coates and Ms. Joan Dabon as joint company secretaries to the company, effective immediately. Ms. Coates has over 25 years' experience in corporate law and compliance. She is currently Managing Director to Source Governance, a national company secretarial and governance service provider, and has provided company secretarial and corporate advisory services to boards and various committees across a variety of industries, including oil & gas (most recently as Company Secretary to Warrego Energy Limited, which was then acquired by Hancock Energy), resources, manufacturing and
technology. She is a qualified lawyer, Chartered Secretary and graduate of the AICD's Company Directors course. She is also a past recipient of the West Australian Women in Mining scholarship and was selected for the AICD Chairman's Mentoring Program. Ms. Coates will be supported by Ms. Dabon, a Chartered Secretary with Source Governance, who has over 7 years' experience in providing company secretarial and corporate advisory services to ASX and NSX listed companies across a variety of sectors. In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 12.6, the company advises that Ms. Coates and Ms. Dabon are nominated as jointly responsible for communications with ASX in relation to all Listing Rule matters. The company further notes the resignation of Ms. Jo-Ann Long as company secretary, effective immediately.
