Taitien Electronics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 464.528 million compared to TWD 412.538 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 18.974 million compared to TWD 16.059 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 20.938 million compared to TWD 120.160 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.29 compared to TWD 1.6 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.29 compared to TWD 1.59 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 1,151.115 million compared to TWD 1,139.276 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 5.517 million compared to TWD 39.424 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 6.206 million compared to TWD 113.071 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.08 compared to TWD 1.51 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.08 compared to TWD 1.5 a year ago.
TAITIEN ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. is principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of quartz oscillators and crystal units. The Company's products include crystal units, service mounted device (SMD) crystals, oscillators, SMD oscillators, temperature compensated crystal oscillators (TCXOs), voltage control crystal oscillators (VCXOs), oven controlled crystal oscillators (OCXOs), quartz wafers and blanks, tuning fork crystals, sensor crystals, global positioning system (GPS) clocks, stress compensated (SC)-cut crystal oscillators and testing and production equipment. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
