Taihan Textile Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A001070) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 1,363,636 shares, for KRW 29,999 million. The purpose of repurchase program is to enhance shareholders' value. The repurchase program is valid till June 11, 2019. As of May 20, 2019, the company had 249,115 shares available in treasury under the dividend capacity and 10 shares in treasury under other capacities.
TAIHANTEXTILE CO., LTD is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the weaving, spinning and dyeing of fabrics. The Company operates its business in two segments: textile and construction. Its textile segment produces yarns such as cotton yarns, fancy yarns, vortex spinning yarns, velour yarns, melange yarns and slub yarns used for undershirts under the brand name of White Horse, as well as fabrics such as cotton woven fabrics and knit fabrics used for military uniforms, bedding interiors, shirts and jackets under the brand name RAINBOW. Its construction segment is mainly engaged in the construction of apartments. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
