Ta Ya Electric Wire & Cable announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 7,171.922 million compared to TWD 4,216.698 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 481.334 million compared to TWD 19.280 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 360.628 million compared to TWD 318.095 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.61 compared to TWD 0.54 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 13,183.573 million compared to TWD 8,173.709 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 843.855 million compared to TWD 56.412 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 796.061 million compared to TWD 457.902 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.35 compared to TWD 0.78 a year ago.
