Singtex Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 407.844 million compared to TWD 354.369 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 28.304 million compared to TWD 573,000 a year ago. Net income was TWD 21.527 million compared to TWD 893,000 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.71 compared to TWD 0.03 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 1,177.546 million compared to TWD 1,102.977 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 48.361 million compared to TWD 5.799 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 42.589 million compared to TWD 2.778 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.42 compared to TWD 0.09 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.39 compared to TWD 0.09 a year ago.
Singtex Industrial Co. Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the processing, distribution, import and export of fibers, yarns, functional fabric products and ready-made clothes, raw materials, semi-finished products and others. The Companyâs fabric products consist of windproof, waterproof and breathable series, high-density water pressure resistance series, quick moisture absorption and release series, two-layer and three-layer functional fabric series, three-dimensional (3D) functional fabric series, PUSH and PULL series, special functional fabric series, and ready-made clothes. The Company distributes its products in domestic and overseas markets.
