SINBON Electronics continues to take action on climate change and biodiversity issues. In response to the UN Sustainable Development Goal 14: Life Below Water, Lily Huang, chief of the sustainability strategy division, and Jena Feng, director of the administrative management division, together with 90 colleagues and their family members, have organized a beach cleanup in Yuanli, Miaoli on World Cleanup Day, on 17th September.

React, we act!
Co-organized with Beautify Formosa, an organization that has long been concerned about the environment, the event helped our colleagues learn more about marine debris and the importance of plastic reduction. The founder of Beautify Formosa, Lin Yi, gave a lecture on environmental education about the importance of environmental conservation and the benefits of cleaning the beaches.
On the day of the event, our colleagues cleaned up the trash scattered on the beach with gloves and bags, collecting a total of 613 kg of waste. By making the beach cleaner, we all felt a sense of accomplishment.

Plastic reduction is more than a single action.
There is no shortcut to sustainable development. It requires the continued efforts of all colleagues in SINBON to achieve a sustainable lifestyle, from using green materials to reducing disposable utensils and plastic usage.
