Shima Seiki Manufacturing Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the six months ended September 30, 2016. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 29,615 million compared with JPY 22,513 million for the same period a year ago. Operating income was JPY 5,500 million compared with JPY 1,992 million for the same period a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 2,310 million compared with JPY 2,437 million for the same period a year ago.
