Emerging lithium miner Sayona Mining Limited (ASX: SYA; OTC: DMNXF) announced today the resignation of former Non-Executive Director, Dan O'Neill.

Mr O'Neill was appointed a Director on 10 March 2000, serving also as Managing Director for approximately a year prior to the appointment of current Managing Director, Brett Lynch in July 2019.

An experienced international geologist, Mr O'Neill was responsible for advancing the Definitive Feasibility Study for Sayona's flagship Authier Lithium Project as a world class lithium resource, together with developing the potential of the emerging Tansim Lithium Project, both in Quebec, Canada.

Sayona's Managing Director, Brett Lynch commented: 'Dan made a major contribution to the development of Sayona's lithium projects in Quebec and on behalf of the Board I would like to thank him for his service.
