Sanken Electric Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the year ended March 31, 2019. For the year, on consolidated basis, the company reported net sales of JPY 173,650 million against JPY 175,209 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 10,531 million against JPY 12,026 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 9,173 million against JPY 11,808 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 6,712 million against loss of JPY 10,472 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 3,967 million against loss attributable to owners of parent of JPY 11,421 million a year ago.
For the year, on non-consolidated basis, the company reported net sales of JPY 110,288 million against JPY 110,905 million a year ago. Operating loss was JPY 1,943 million against operating income of JPY 484 million a year ago. Ordinary loss was JPY 3,038 million against ordinary income of JPY 32,656 million a year ago. Net loss was JPY 3,528 million against net income of JPY 11,621 million a year ago.

The Semiconductor Device segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of semiconductor devices, such as power modules, power integrated circuits (IC), control ICs, hall sensors, transistors, diodes, light-emitting diodes (LED), LED lighting products. The Power System segment is involved in the manufacture and sale of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) products, general purpose inverters, direct current power supply units, high intensity air fault lamps, power storage systems, power conditioners, switching power supply products and transformers.
