Sanad Construction Resources has signed an exclusive supply agreement with Northern Cement Company PLC in Jordan, which owns cement plants in Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Iraq. It is worth noting that signing this agreement embodies the joint covenant to supply Northern Cement, which is used in most of the brick factories in Palestine due to its strength and sturdiness, in order to meet the local market's need for this essential material during the coming period. This step follows a prior milestone which encompassed signing the cement supply agreement with Al-Manaseer Company in Jordan last year; an agreement that has been successful on all levels. This step comes as part of the Company's strategy, which seeks to reduce risk. Sanad will diversify its sources, distribute the volume of supply and import construction materials that the company deals with from various sources while ensuring that no previous agreements or commitments are violated. In this context, it is worth mentioning that the contract for the supply of exclusive long-term cement with "Nesher" Company expires by end of 2018. It is possible that before the contract ends, Sanad will negotiate with "Nesher" the issue of signing a new supply contract with new terms and conditions matching the Company's interests, taking into account the advancements and updates within the construction sector during the coming period.
