(Alliance News) - M&C Saatchi PLC on Friday announced that Chief Financial Officer Bruce Marson will step down from the board at the end of the month, reverting to the position of deputy CFO.

The London-based advertising agency appointed Simon Fuller as new CFO from July 1. He is the former CFO of Reach PLC, a London-based newspaper, magazine and digital publisher, which owns the Mirror and Express brands.

Fuller has also held senior managerial roles in the finance functions of Tesco PLC and BT Group PLC.

M&C Saatchi Chief Executive Officer Zaid Al-Qassab said: "I am pleased to welcome Simon, whose skills will be highly valuable in the new phase we have entered, as we drive M&C Saatchi to become the leading creative solutions partner for our clients, combining deep regional expertise with broad global reach.

M&C Saatchi shares rose 0.1% to 194.60 pence each on Friday morning in London.
