Within the frames of the signed agreement Qumak, as a leader of the consortium, will implement a system of managing an ICT platform. This system is going to have under its control the management of IT incidents and problems, changes, resources, configuration, and versions.

Management of services in compliance with the ITIL standards

In practice the system will optimize and automate the management of services in compliance with the ITIL standards. In addition, it will impact a reduction of costs and will enable avoiding disturbances in providing services. Within the frames of the signed contract Qumak will also deliver 180 licenses for administrators and over 80 thousand licenses for users of the system.

This agreement includes a comprehensive realization of the implementation; from performing a pre-implementation analysis and creating a technical design, through an installation, configuration, and launching the system in a production environment of the ordering party.

ITSM system with a year of support and a warranty for two years

Additional element of works will be an integration of a new system with the systems that are at present operating in the Resortowe Centrum Zarządzania. Within the frames of the order there will also be prepared technical documentation and there will be conducted trainings for users.

Implementation of the system is covered by a seven-month guarantee period, and the system itself is on a 24-month period guarantee. Technical support for the ordering party will be available for the period of 12 months from the day of signing the agreement.

Resortowe Centrum Zarządzania Sieciami i Usługami Teleinformatycznymi is a unit subordinate to the Ministry of National Defence, which performs a function of an Economic Division within the scope of telecommunication services provided for 1459 military institutions. It manages the systems of transmission, switching, and networks of data transmission, as well as co-ordinates the processes of a military telecommunication system.

Contracts of Qumak SA for the military sector

In 2016 the orders portfolio of Qumak was enriched e.g. by contracts concerning delivery of servers for the Polish Armed Forces, equipping with a modern infrastructure the Armaments Inspectorate, and modernization of facilities of the Ministry of National Defence. The Company also obtained an order regarding equipping eight out of sixteen military airports in Poland with the Automated Weather Observation Systems (AWOS).
