NICE Holdings Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A034310) acquired 48.84% stake in ITM Semiconductor Co., Ltd. from Power Logics Co. Ltd. (KOSE:A047310) and POWERLOGICS ASIA LIMITED for KRW 20 billion on June 29, 2012. NICE Holdings acquired 3.06 million shares of ITM Semiconductor. Power Logics Co. Ltd. sold its 42.86% stake while the remaining 5.97% stake was sold by POWERLOGICS ASIA LIMITED. ITM Semiconductor reported revenue of KRW 79.8 billion, net income of KRW 3.7 billion, total assets of KRW 64.4 billion and net assets of KRW 26.8 billion for the year ended December 31, 2011. The Board of Directors of NICE Holdings passed a resolution on June 29, 2012.

The Company mainly provides three categories of products: protection circuit modules (PCMs), which are used to protect secondary batteries used in mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs) and other mobile information technology (IT) equipment; smart modules (SMs), which are used to exhibit battery status, as well as camera modules (CMs). The Company provides its PCMs, SMs and CMs under the brand names of PIPB42, BONN and KONA, respectively. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
