Plastivaloire now anticipates sales of around 770 million euros (instead of over 800 million) for the 2023-24 financial year, with an EBITDA margin below that of 2022-23 (compared with slightly above 8.3% initially).
For its first half-year, the plastics group saw its net loss, Group share, narrow to two million euros (versus 15.9 million a year earlier), with EBITDA margin improving by 0.2 points to 8.1%.
Sales, at 405.4 million euros, were down 3.7% in a less favorable economic environment for automotive and industrial production, illustrated by the delay in the launch of two new programs.
The decline in business due to these delays is temporary, and does not call into question the Group's medium-term business plan, thanks in particular to the expected ramp-up of a number of recently-launched programs.
